Brief Answer:
Taking panadiene and lyrica might cause increased drowsiness

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Taking panadeine forte and Lyrica within half an hour might cause moderate increase in drowsiness and dizziness which are known side effects of the medicines. It is recommended that you do not drive or participate in any activity which requires you to have a high level of alertness.

2. Alcohol consumption should be avoided or reduced when taking the above medicine(s).

3. There is no risk to your health if the medicines are taken as recommended for pain relief but you will feel more drowsy than usual when you take both medicines within half an hour.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Both medicines might be taken in proper dose and with a prescription

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. Both the medicines can be taken together as long as your doctor has recommended it at a particular dose. Taken at proper dose, it does not cause any other side effect other than increased drowsiness. However this information should be in the knowledge of the treating doctor.

2. These medicines need to be taken under direct supervision of a physician and on a prescription only so that overdose is avoided.

3. You might also discuss with your doctor and take both medicines only when there is severe pain and not every day.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
