Brief Answer:
It is safe to take Cefdinir.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Yes, it is safe for you to take Cefdinir.

Cefdinir is a medicine that belongs to the class of antibiotics called cephalosporin.

Bactrim contains a combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. Sulfametoxazole is an anti-bacterial sulfonamide (sulfa drug).

You can take cefdinir because it has no relation to the sulfa drug.

Also you should talk with your doctor if you will have side effects such as: shortness of breath, sore throat, rash or black stools.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
