Is It Safe To Take Azithromycin And Nitrofurantoin At The Same Time?
Question: Hi, is it safe and effective to take azithromycin and nitrofurantoin at the same time i.e., took the azithromycin two days ago now have a three day course if nitrofurantoin to take fir a different problem?

Mostly Azithromycin is used for throat infection and Nitrofurantoin for Urinary Tract Infection. If it is so, tell me in details about your problem.
In general, since you have taken Azithromycin already for 2 days, you can take another dose of it, as for throat infection 3 day dosing is enough.
And after that you can start with Nitrofurantoin.

It's not for throught infection it's for an sti and the other one is for a urine infection
