Brief Answer:
It can cause life threatening complications.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Ativan is a brand name of drug “lorazepam” which is an extremely strong, addictive, immediate-duration benzodiazepine.
Mixing alcohol with ativan can cause dangerous, potentially life threatening complications. Together, alcohol and Ativan can slow down the body’s functioning and make it much easier to overdose. The combination can cause dangerously low blood pressure, slowed breathing and rarely death.
So never try this deadly combination.
