Is It Safe To Have Pravachol Along With Metabo 379?
Question: I take Pravachol 40 mg daily and want to take Metabo 379 that has Sphaeranthus indicus and Garcinia mangostana. Is it ok?

PRAVACHOL is one of a class of lipid-lowering compounds, the statins, which reduce cholesterol biosynthesis.
It has not been proved yet to show any drug interactions with tab metabo 379, however Garcinia induces liver enzymes CyP450 so it will reduce the effects of any other drug you might be taking. So I will suggest you to take them but only after discussing this with your doctor.
