Is It Safe To Have Adderall Prior To D&C Procedure?

Question: Will taking Adderall be dangerous before undergoing a d&c procedure under IV sedation? How soon before do I need to stop taking this medication?

There is no reason to stop adderall before a D&C procedure. There is risk during this procedure that would be caused by adderall. It is safe to continue the drugs as prescribed before and after the procedure.

In all, there are no reasons to stop this drug. It would not in a byway be a problem during and after the procedure. Feel free to continue it as prescribed.

What about IV sedation? Would that interfere with the medications used during IV sedation?
How does it take to be completely out of your system?

This drug wouldn’t interfere with drugs used for sedation. Generally, it has not residual effect 24hours after last dose.
