Brief Answer:
Can be safely performed with modern pacemakers

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Actually there are some risks of complications during a cardioversion in a patient with a pacemaker.
But nowdays electrical cardioversion can be safely performed by an experienced team in patients with modern pacemakers. If your pacemaker was implanted in 2011, I think it will be ok to perform a cardioversion in an experienced center.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
