Question: I am trying to lose weight. I walk 1 miles everyday. I walk to a videotape so I do it indoors. Can you tell me if it is better to exercise first thing in the morning when I wake up or at night just before bed?

Brief Answer:
it is better in the morning.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would suggest that you should go for regular exercise in the morning. Exercises should not be done on full stomach(after meals), so avoid the exercise in the night after dinner. Since you are hypertensive, I would suggest that you should avoid severe exercises, which may increase your blood pressure.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
