Brief Answer:
No direct relation to recovery.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

No, weed has no direct effect on cataract so you can ingest it but yes, it is toxic for your body overall. Therefore, if the full body is considered, it should be stopped. However, it has no direct relation to cataract or post cataract operation or recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.

But I read that it can make you blink less and dries your eyes out and therefore could impact healing after cataract surgery. Is this true?

Follow up answer.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

For problems related to dry eye, you can use any tear drops available OTC. If you take very very high doses then it can be toxic. With normal dose, it is okay.

However, as I told you earlier, it is not good for health.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thank you.
