Brief Answer:
lipoma is totally benign(non cancer), do not worry at all for cancer.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

* As the report is suggesting 12 X 6 mm size lipoma at the local part involving lower back means that it is a soft tissue lesion which is benign in nature.

* There are absolutely no threat of cancer, so far as your case is concerned.

So, do not panic regarding the same.

If it is much painful or annoying, you can decide to get its surgery done; otherwise you can keep it under observation over a period of time as well.

Wish you fine health. Welcome for any further doubts.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

* Ill defined means its margins are not very well demarcated, which is quite normal for
a developing lipoma, nothing to scare for that.

* Question mark is suggestive of possibility as many of the times ultrasound persons
keep this mark routinely and advise to co relate the data clinically for confirmation.

Hope this information will clear your doubt. Still problems, welcome for follow up.
Thanks.
