Brief Answer:
Lingual brace with tongue crib..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain it seems that the gap in your front teeth is due to tongue thrusting habit and in which the tongue always presses against the front teeth and causes pressure over the front teeth leading to formation of midline Diastema..

Although lingual braces as well as the invisalign both are efficient for closing gap between teeth but in your If I would be treating doctor I would definitely prefer braces with a tongue crib that is an orthodontic appliance to prevent tongue thrusting habit..

You can discuss with your Orthodontist and can revert me back..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..

thanks for the answer.

However, I noticed in addition to the tongue thrusting you observed,my teeth started drifting backward and protruding forward after I removed one of my molar tooth on the left 15 years ago and wisdom tooth on the right 10 years ago. do i need implant to replace the missing teeth after the alignment.

Brief Answer:
First let the alignment of teeth be done by braces..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome again..

As per your query I would like to know which tooth you have got extracted?
Is it the first molar or the second molar..
In case if it is the first molar which you have got extracted then the Orthodontist will drift the second molar in place of first molar along with drifting the front teeth towards the mid-line for closing up the gaps..

The drifting of the teeth using braces will align the teeth as well as the protruded teeth will be retruded and will be brought back to their correct position..

Once the alignment will be successful then you can get evaluated and if required then only implant will be done or else not..

As of now get the Orthodontic treatment done first..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
