Is Inability To Walk On Their Own At 14 Months Normal?

Question: My daughter will be 14 months on 4 th dec
She has still not started walking on her own
She can walk really fast holding something
Even she can walk with holding my finger with one hand !!
Is it ok and normal ?
I feel as if she is scared to walk
She started walking holding things since last 3 months

Development of motor milestones is a gradual process and parent should identify the acts which the baby enzoys.
In each milestone the full control develops over a period of time.Like in neck holding baby intially starts holding his neck but can not rotate his head,similarly for stting initially baby sits with support and same is true for walking also.
The process of development also includes the sense of confidence.
So in your case I don't find any abnormality.
The red flag sign (the time when you should get alert and consult your physician)for walking without support is 18 months,so you need not to worry.
