Is Exercising Safe When Diagnosed With Prostrate Cancer?

Question: I am 73 yrs old,I exercise 5 days a week running about 1hr each day.I do yoga for 40 minutes 6 days a week. I just started the one hour runs three weeks ago. I am a male and my Pectorial muscles seem to be growing, my nipples are tender to the touch but not painful. I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer and treated with lupron shots and radiation 3yrs ago.My psa tests are now at zero.Do you think this could be normal do to the exercise program?

HI,

Exercises are the best way to develop muscles. Am not surprised you have noticed some change in your muscles following this. This would probably suggest that you are doing so many exercises involving the chest and shoulders. There is no reason to worry about. Develop them as much as you can.
