Brief Answer:
proper burping is very important

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone very carefully through your query. Let me ask whether the baby is exclusively breast fed or whether formula feeds are given. Formula milk is cow milk based and hard to digest. Breast milk is best for the baby and giving breast milk exclusively may reduce the discomfort of the baby and therefore can reduce the crying. The child may also cry due to abdominal distension which occurs as the child ingests air along with feeds. This can be taken care of by proper burping. You need to hold the child in erect posture (head end raised) for about 15-20 mins after each feed. If that does not help giving Colicaid Drops usually takes care of the crying which occurs due to colic. Children may also cry due to hunger, improper temperature, craving for mother or any other cause. The underlying condition needs to be managed suitably.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
