Brief Answer:
elevating HDL

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You recently had blood work and everything was good including your LDL cholesterol. Now you want to improve your HDL. My question is why? There is no good evidence that increasing your HDL when you already have a great LDL will improve your health. Usually to increase a persons HDL the trade off is increasing the LDL at the same time. Also the increase in HDL will not change your risk for heart disease or Alzheimer's or any other disease. So trying to increase your HDL is not worth the time of the effort. Be happy with your great labs and continue doing what you are doing.

I know this is not the answer your were expecting but it is the truth.

If you want to increase your HDL take niacin and run a marathon weekly. Those two things will help increase your HDL. There are no medications diets or exercises that will increase HDL.
