Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
Bi basilar opacity in lung can be due to:
1. Pulmonary Tuberculosis
2. Lung infection like Bacterial Pneumonia, lung abscess, Fungal Pneumonia
3. Atelectasis
4. Interstitial Lung Disease
5. Lung Cancer - is a possibility.

I need a few details to help you better:
1. What problems are you actually facing and since when?
2. Cough is dry or associated with sputum?
3. Any blood in cough?
4. Any breathlessness?
5. Any fever?
6. Any weight loss?
7. Are you a smoker?
8. Any history of diabetes?
9. Attach the photograph or scanned Xray film.
10. Attach any blood reports if you have got done.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me and answer these questions preferably in point wise manner.

I have a dry cough. No blood in sputum, no fever, no breathlessness. I have a tickle when I breath in deeply and that makes me cough. I have not smoked in 30 years, but did smoke for 15 years before that. No diabetes. I do not have my scans yet

Brief Answer:
Detail follows

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Dry cough that you are having can be because of Lisinopril.
Since you don't have symptoms then the opacities might be benign and not significant. Sometimes its also breast shadow.
To comment further I would like to see your xray.
In case its doubtful , CECT Chest would be done with other blood investigations.
But decision would be taken after visualizing your X ray film.
Please review with me once you have your chest xray for a better comment.
If you have any further query please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
