Posted on Fri, 3 Feb 2017
Question: mildly elevated temperature for 3 days (highest 101 in the evening), no other symptoms. this began one day after a non-serious fall from a bike followed by a non-serious fender bender accident on the way home after biking. can an accident somehow to be the primary cause of elevated temperature or is it more likely caused by a virus. should i take aspirin or tylenol?

Brief Answer:
May be viral fever

Detailed Answer:
Hai,

I gone through your query.

Even though you are safe after the accident,it must have left some impact both mental as well as physical. As a resultyou are experiencing increased body temperature.however elevated temperature for more than 3 days need to be addressed.
As you quote it may be viral fever too.

my advise would be to let you undergo investigation under the guidance of your treating physician after examining you properly.

in meantime you can take Tylenol .

Hope i answered you query. Kindly get back to me if there any clarification.

Thanks and regards
