Is Asbestos Fiber And Dust Harmful To Breathe In?
Question: Hello Doctor
I have a question about asbestos.
My father did work taking a old school down, where they had used asbestos.
My father work-place did use proper protection clothing and mask. This clothes looks like them when you paint. White overall clothing.
After this they did leave clothing at work before coming home; and after coming home my father did leave is own cloths outdoors and shoes. And then he did go directly into the shower. My father is ofcourse of of those older man, who does not think of the details and I'm just afraid if he did take some asbestos fiber/dust with him.
What I'm frustrated about; is if he was able to take some asbestos fiber and dust with him on face, hair or anything else and it's now in our home ?? .. is this possible and do you think it's even harmful in this dosage ?
could I wash the floors and clean up with a vacuum cleaner, would this be enough to be safe ??
