Question: Are arthralgia and arthritis the same? If so how? if not why not.

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that arthralgias mean pain in joints only , but arthritis means swelling along with pain . Arthralgia is generally non alarming and goes with time but if arthritis is there it requires evaluation further and treatment will continue for long with strong medicines .
