Tests for HIV antibodies have been regularly standardised and in the last 5 years the tests done are usually 3 or 4 generation tests.

The 3 or 4 generation tests are excellent and medical literature confirms that 12 months is the maximum time required for a person to develop antibodies after HIV infection.

Going with what is written in latest medical literature there is no need of any test if the 5 year test for HIV antibodies is negative.

Sir I took an Elisa HIV 1&2 antibodies test was done on 2015 after 5 years explore and the test is negative the result was like 0.9-0.0 and mentioned as negative I Dont know which generation test it is plz is this is an accurate tesr
