Question: Hi,

I have just noticed an inch wide shoulder dimple on my left shoulder which i had not seen before. How does this come about? Is it a cause for concern and why now?

You noticed a dimple in your left shoulder. There appears to be no know injury or having pain in the area. There could be loss of muscle mass from reduced exercise or if you gained weight the extra fatty tissue made a dimple from its distribution under the skin. This is a benign problem and nothing to be concerned about.
