Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management first

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. History of heart transplant and CMV infection treated successfully that time with valacyclovir followed by current suspicion of recurrence of CMV should first be analysed and assessed before starting antivirals again. Easiest way is to go to your local physician, your heart doctor, let them run some baseline work up , take a detailed history and clinical correlation and find out if CMV is actually returned and then decide about the fate of antivirals afterwards. For now starting just on suspicion basis is not wise.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
