I need more information to make any sense of the lab result. Please send a copy of the labs. Is this a cholesterol test? a complete blood count? thyroid?

Please take a picture of the labs and send it as an attachment so I can better answer your question

Brief Answer:
TC-H Total Cholesterol to HDL ratio

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for submitting the lab results

The TC-H is the total cholesterol to HDL ratio. This is taking the total cholesterol and divided by the HDL. The higher the ratio the higher the risk for heart disease. In your case your ratio is 4.6 which is the upper range of normal. Your overall cholesterol levels are not at goal despite you being on maximum dose of simvastatin. I would recommend that you discuss this wiith your medical provider and possibly switch to a more potent statin drug like crestor or lipitor.

I hope I answered your question. Please return to us if you have any additional questions
