Is Miralax Safe For Long Term Use?

Question: I have been taking Miralax every evening for almost 2 years. Recently I read that it should not be used on children. I am 76. Is there a problem with my continued use?

MIRALAX is an osmotic laxative.This means  that it draws water into the colon to keep the food residue soft and easy to eliminate.
There is no concern regarding its longterm use and is pretty safe when used for very long time.
