Brief Answer:
You are not suffering from HIV infection : scientific/medical details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum. I can understand your concern for the HIV and its test results.

After analyzing the query with best diligence and interpreting each and every point let me first reassure you first that you are not suffering from HIV infection and there are no chance of the same.

Let me simplify the things and give you medical and scientific facts behind the above fact:

In an unprotected intercourse with a HIV positive person the HIV viruses gets entered into the body and divides in innumerous numbers(millions of viruses per ml).

After a period of 2-6 week there is mounting of antibodies against the viruses. These antibodies can take at the maximum of 8-10 weeks of the period to get expressed.

Therefore the infection can be analyzed by two ways -

-A): By HIV virus detection: done by RNA- PCR. It tells us the number of copies of virus present in per ml of blood. By the latest of methods the viruses can be detected within 2 weeks of period.

B): By HIV antibody Detection: AS told earlier once the antibodies appear maximum of 8-10 weeks then these antibodies to HIV virus persist throughout life.

The protocol of the antibody tests done for HIV is as follows: One HIV antibody test at 6-8 weeks and then a follow up final test at 3 months (84 days or 12 weeks).

Antibodies once formed to HIV can never disappear. So if a person has HIV infection, 3 months of period is the sufficient of time when we say to be fully sure of whether HIV is present or not.

Now correlating all the facts and interpreting with your situation you can get that all your tests were negative. A p24 detection can not be labelled as HIV positive status and need to be confirmed by antibody testing. The latest of Tridot test also indicate the same that your status is negative.

So allay all your fears regarding HIV and relax.

I hope above information will relax you. If you have any further queries I will be glad to help.

Brief Answer:
Fatigue, Muscle wasting & coughing are not solely related to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Dear young fellow,

Welcome back and thanks a lot for your further follow up. Fatigue, Muscle wasting & coughing are not the symptoms which are solely related to HIV. There are so many other simple conditions where we can find such kind of symptoms. I suggest you to meet a family physician or an internal medicine specialist to get yourself examined for the cause of the same.

In my experience there appears to be no reason to direct your investigation towards HIV only. Such kind of symptoms I do often find in cases of simple stress too!!!

So allay all your fears related to HIV and relax for the possibility of the same.

I hope above information will relax you. If you have any further queries I will be glad to help.

Brief Answer:
I suggest you to meet a chest physician and get yourself examined.

Detailed Answer:
Dear young fellow,

Welcome back and thanks a lot for your further follow up.

Cough generally stays for a period of 1-2 weeks. If cough stays more than 3 weeks then a personalized examination is very necessary and mandatory. Bleeding with cough is not related only to tuberculosis but can also be related to variety of other causes.

I suggest you to meet a chest physician and get yourself examined. A chest X ray with sputum examination will reveal the exact cause of the same.
