Question: I am 31 weeks pregnant and i am taking dubagest from my second trimster and my doctor advised me to continue till now. I am worried that taking dubagest 200 mg even after 31 weeks will stop delivering a baby normally ? how long should i continue dubagest 200 mg? Kindly advise

Dubagest is normally given in case there is any placental abruption or bleeding or a history of recurrent or threatened abortions. The cause of taking Dubagest can be low levels of progesterone in the body. At 31 weeks it is usually not needed. It is best to get your serum progesterone levels evaluated and discontinue using it after consulting your gynecologist if the levels are normal.
