Is Dapoxetine Effective At Treating Premature Ejaculation?

Question: Hi, I took the Tablet Dapoxitine, but it did not worked.

2-3 years back I took Sildenafil which I realized when the medical store asked me to give Dapoxitine with Sildenafil or plain. So I asked him to give me plain, which did not worked out.

Thanks for follow up.

The dose of dapoxetine for premature ejaculation is 30-60 mg per day. In case you just took 30 mg than it is advisable to take 60 mg tablet or 2 tablets of 30 mg.

It is also important to not to lose hope as there are atleast 15 medicines which can be used for premature ejaculation. Dapoxetine is preferred as first line but it does not mean that it is more effective than other medications.

I also like to state that when the dapoxetine does not work for any of my patients I switch to paroxetine 10 mg followed by 20 mg after one week of use. This is again a good medication but there is need for regular use in contrast to dapoxetine which is used on need basis.
