Is Centrum Multivitamin Safe To Take While Smoking?

Question: I am 34 years old , smokes 20 cigarettes per day , would like to start taking centrum multivitamin ..
is this safe ? because i heard that centrum is not required for smokers . and if it is not safe . what is your suggestion for another multivitamin for me ? and the dosage please ?

ok. Many thanks for your quick response.
but what about (Beta-Carotene - a source of Vitamin A) , I heard that this elements may increase the risk of lung cancer for smokers , kindly clarify .

Beta carotene when taken in large dose in people with smoking can increase risk of lung cancer. Centrum does not contains it in so much large dose.
