Cefodox is a cephalosporin and is an antibiotic drug.Usually antibiotics are not prescribed during pregnancy and are to be avoided especially during the first trimester as they can affect the developing foetus and organogenesis(organ formation) which is during the first trimester itself.

Kindly avoid any medications unless the condition is utmost urgent and is prescribed by your treating Gynaecologist.

It is very necessary that any drug intake is monitored and is under Medical Supervision.
