Is Boost Oxygen Advisable For Breathlessness In A Patient With Mycoplasma Pneumonia Infection?
Question: Is canned oxygen like BoostO2 ok to help breathlessness if one has Mycroplasma pneumonia?Since mycroplasma bacteria is anaerobic is it OK to use puffs of sports canned O2 like boostoxygen to help with breathlessness symptons?

I can understand your concern
Each of them are good in helping oxygenation in Mycoplasma pneumonia if the patient has respiratory failure.
But we prefer more boost oxygen indeed.
Despite it might be Mycoplasma if the blood oxygenation is normal than no need for oxygen.
Even of Mycoplasma is anaerogen does not mean that compromise the blood oxygenation itself .For such you can use oxygen in any form if needed without problem.
