Hello thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. Phentermine is a stimulant drug. it is used in obesity to reduce craving for food. In adults, the drug should be started with low dose. The dose should be increased gradually. The recommended adult dose is 15 to 60mg per day. It should be taken before breakfast. The 60mg dose is little higher. But if you have prescription for it, then dont worry. Make sure you have normal renal and liver function tests. The dose must be adjusted according to renal and liver function.
