Brief Answer:
Start a short course of antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The most common cause for post nasal drip is sinusitis. Which is nothing but an inflammation of paranasal sinuses( air filled cavities in your face). Once the secondary infection sets up the secretion become more thick and yellow in colour.
Nothing much to worry as it will settle by conservative management using antibiotics.
Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably amoxclav of cefuroxime. You can also take antihistamine like cetrezine for symptomatic relief. Do steam inhalation to open up the blocked sinuses.
Generally the symptoms will settle in four to five days with these conservative management.
If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and plan for a CT scan to rule out possible causes like chronic sinusitis.
Wishing all the best
