Question: I’m sorry I closed the question yesterday but rated you perfect.

But I have a follow up question; given that I had an endoscopy 14 months ago with my symptoms I described what is the likelihood my endoscope this week will be clear of cancer.

By the way I stopped smoking 35 years ago and I drink very little alcohol. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me with more questions.
Your last endoscopy was just 14 months ago and you had dysphagia even then.
Endoscopy was normal.
It did not show any cancer or any premalignant lesion which can turn in to cancer later.
And also during these 14 months there was no progressive worsening of dysphagia.
So it is unlikely that you would have developed cancer within this period.

Dr.R.K.
