Question: I’m Anas from XXXXXXX and contacting you for a problem that my wife (on her behalf) is experiencing at the moment. She has minor swelling and pain due to small tooth decay in the upper tooth. We are afraid to step out due to lockdown, so kindly prescribe some medicine for pain relief.

Hiii, First of all thank you for approaching us for your query. I read through your query and I must say that there is nothing much to be worried. Please tell her to take antibiotics (amoxicillin 500) (take care she doesnt have any allergy to it), anti inflammatory(meftal forte), for 3 times for 5 days . Do warm salt water gargle concentrating in that area.Avoid having sweets. Once lockdown is open please visit a dentist and get it treated. Please stay safe and stay home.
