IF Sits For Long Hours, The Feet And Legs Are
Question: IF sits for long hours, the feet and legs are getting swollen also there is a bad pain in the right leg behind and its seems like all the nerves in that legs are getting strained and cramped, which gives a lot of pain. Kind of nerves are straining and giving pain in that leg area. Have tried hot water bag a regular pain massage oil but its not yet reduced the pain. Please advice.

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but lower limb edema and pain can be due to a number of causes including a side effect of your Telma blood pressure medication, so i would recommend that you refer to your doctor to change the prescription.. Also this could be due to venous insufficiency that leads to pooling of body fluids into your legs.. So I would recommend that you avoid sitting for prolonged periods , elevate you legs and wear compression stockings.. If the overlying skin of the back of your leg turned red , hot and painful then please seek medical care immediately to exclude deep vein thrombosis.. I hope you find this helpful
