I Woke Up With My Eye Swollen Shut, Discharge, Crust

default
Posted on Sat, 22 Feb 2020
Question: I woke up with my eye swollen shut, discharge, crust etc this morning and immediately knew I had pink eye. I was able to see a doctor and get an antibiotic I started taking at 2pm today. I've went ahead and washed all of my sheets. My question is regarding tonight; if I sleep on my clean sheets tonight, should I still wash them tomorrow again? Or am I not able to infect myself again now that I'm on antibiotics? Also am I able to start wearing makeup tomorrow without reinfecting myself? I'm already bought new makeup but I don't want to use it and have to buy it AGAIN if I'm not "sterile"

Brief Answer:
I would suggest to wait for a week for the make up part

Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the question . Changing of sheets is not required unless you have another person sleeping on the same sheet . Just clean your eyes and hands regularly . Keep your towels separate and dont touch your eyes repeatedly . 80% of the infections are viral and go away in a week . I would wait for a week to apply make up .Hope my answer helps you . Regards
