Question: I went on a restricted calorie diet weighing 245 and I ate around 1600 calories a day. I lost 35 pounds quickly. I upped the cals to about 1900 and I have plateaued. I%E2%80%99m 6%E2%80%99 1%E2%80%9D 210 and stuck. I cant believe I dont continue to lose eating less than 2000 cals a day. Male. 63 years old. I work so I%E2%80%99m busy active, not gym active. 2000 to 5000 steps a day, and lots of driving. HELP. I want to get to 190 lbs.

If you want to loose weight is not only calories restrictions which matter but you should keep attention to the food you choose to eat.
You should choose food rich in proteins such chicken breast, eggs, lean meat, turkey meat etc.
Also you may choose fresh fruits and vegetables especially green leaves, lettuces, broccoli, cabbages etc.
You may choose olive oil instead of butter.
Restrict carbohydrate intake, white wheat, refined sugars. You can use sweeteners such stevia leaves.

Also increase the physical activity doing at least an hour per day every day.
