I Saw A Question About Sperm Going Through Clothes, And

default
Posted on Tue, 22 Sep 2020
Question: I saw a question about sperm going through clothes, and that semen can go through clothes, sperm cannot. I’m just wondering why sperm can’t go if it requires liquid transmission and semen can still get through, if they say that only latex condom works to stop semen and sperm. I have a similar concern...my bf and I were fooling around, he was wearing form fitting underwear and pajamas pants, but thin. Wet from semen, but how do we know no sperm? I’m anxious about it esp because some sites say if underwear was saturated with semen, then pregnancy still possible, though i don't know what saturated really mean in this context. Why can semen go through, but not sperm? I am embarrassed to ask. Thx!

Brief Answer:
Fertile period. Sperms being crlls, semen is fluid .

Detailed Answer:
Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

As you might be aware that in a woman with regular periods, day 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period of the cycle.
If the episode you are narrating has not happened in this period , then chances of getting pregnant are very minimal.

Secondly semen that spills out from man's penis, contains 10% sperms cells and 90% of seminal fluid for nourishment and travelling media for the sperms.
Being fluid it can percolate through clothes, but sperms being cells, it's difficult for them to pass through the clothes.

I would like to know about few things in detail.
1.When was your last menstrual period?
2. What was the day of cycle, when sperm spillage occured?
3. Have you got your next periods?

Please feel free to communicate with me again.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.

Thank you. So cells can't go through porous clothes?
1. On the 16th of August
2. On the 20th of August
3. Not yet, but it's not time

Thank you for your responses so far. So even if he was on top of my vagina, and I had thin shorts, and he had thin underwear and thin pajamas pants, it's unlikely for sperm to go through, even if semen did? thanks so much. That is all the question I have.

Brief Answer:
Before fertile period. Sex counselling.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for appreciating my answer and reverting back to me.

I have read your reply.
As per your history, the episode was within first ten days of the period

This is anyway not the fertile period of the cycle.
So there is almost no chance of getting pregnant.

It will not be untimely to suggest you to get proper sex counselling done.
This will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

I hop this answer helps you.
Thanks.
