Question: I originally had small looking welp on the side of my labia thinking it was an ingrown hair. It has quickly turned into what looks like an ulcer and numberous red bumps have spread across only one side of my labia. There is redness and swelling only on one side. My lymph node on that side only is also swollen and sore. I have not be sexually active in over a year. What could this be?

Brief Answer:
Seems to be infective, upload pictures, answer few questions

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and it seems to be infective in origin ( could become herpes).
I would recommend you to upload the pictures of the affected areas under the report section of the site so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.
I need to ask you few questions:
Are these bumps painful or associated with itching and pain?
Are these bumps solid or fluid filled?
Is there any similar episode in the past?
Kindly revert with the answers and pictures.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

There are bumps scrattered from clitoris to anus only on the left side. The bumps are red or flesh colored and appear to be more fluid filled, but are hard to the touch. This appeared a few days after shaving. The have a burning sensation and occasional itching. It is beginning to burn when I pee. I can’t see my doctor until Monday and the swelling and pain is only getting worse.

Brief Answer:
Folliculitis or herpes infection, oral & topical antibiotic,

Detailed Answer:
According to your complaints it seems to be either herpes infection or folliculitis.
I would recommend you to take antibiotic like tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days and apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment on the affected areas twice daily.
For pain and burning take anti inflammatory medicine like tablet ibuprofen.

It has now spread to the bottom of my back and on my butt cheeks. Could it be a yeast infection? Or something else still?

Brief Answer:
Doesn’t seem to be yeast infection

Detailed Answer:
It doesn’t seem to be yeast infection.
Yeast infection occurs bilaterally and is not associated with burning and swelling of the lymph nodes.
It seems to be bacterial infection.
