I Once Put An Dirty Shopping Bag On The Sink

Posted on Wed, 20 May 2020
Question: I once put an dirty shopping bag on the sink table, this bag may be contaminated with blood since i saw some brown stain on it. I used a mop to clean the table surface sfter discard the bag and washed it after finishing. There is no obvious stain left on mop too. i keep on using the mop in the wash room for drying the sink table is there is wager split on it. Since it is beside the tap, the mod is almost alwasy wet. my question is that if the stain on bag is HIV contaminated blood and I did what i explained before, would HIV survive in mop and further contaminated my sink table when i used it?

and today, one month after incident, i used that mop again to clean my desk, will my desk contaminated with virus too?

Thanks for your reply.
I have bad habit like figure pick and pick my pimple while I am working. So, if I touch the table or water sink (The surface has dried) wiped by that mop and did not wash the hands and picked my pimple and a little bit bleeding. There should not be any risk right?
