Brief Answer:
missed periods

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
The very first thing that you should undertake is a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy in case you have been sexually active. If negative then , you need to get an ultrasound pelvis to check for endometrial thickness and also a hormonal profile to check if the delay was due to hormonal imbalance or possible organic causes like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactinemia or even PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome).
However the brown discharge and presence of clots may mark the onset of menses if pregnancy test i s negative.
You may follow up with reports.
