Question: I have scrotal swelling, little fluid. Started last week randomly with dull achy pain, but eventually pain subsided. Sometime scrotum will be filled with little fluid (when scrotum is contracted), sometimes it goes away. No signs of discoloration, or redness. Skin of scrotum is slightly thick.

Brief Answer:
There can be several causes.... Require further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and here is my advice. If possible, kindly attach images so that I can get better idea.

As per your history, there can be several causes for that which should get evaluated.

For further assessment I would suggest you to consult with Urologist for detailed clinical examination.

He may procure complete hemogram, discharge culture sensitivity, urine analysis, ultrasound abdomen and pelvis with Doppler scrotum as per evaluation to rule out any other possibilities for sexually transmitted infection/epidydamitis /orchitis.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. Till then for pain, continue tablet Tylenol. Use scrotal support. Avoid strenuous activity/heavy weight lifting.

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
