I Have Had Chronic Constipation For Decades. I Have Had
Question: I have had chronic constipation for decades. I have had 3 episodes over 3 months of severe constipation. My stools are sometimes dark and hard; lately XXXXXXX and narrow occasionally. I Have had breast cancer. My next colonoscopy is in 2021. My doctor has refused to give me a referral and the gastroenterologist won't see me without one. Two friends have colon cancer.

Have seen your details,
Change is bowel habit is not the only sign of cancer in colon rather signs like pain,blood in stools etc are usually there and the intensity of symptoms usually increases very fast with in months.Secondly if a colonoscopy is clear with in last three years then it should be done after 3 to 5 years only.
You were a patient of chronic constipation and had 3 episodes of severe constipation in 3 months this is usually not the rate at which any cancer progresses.It progresses at a very high rate.
Start taking Isabghul husk 10 gram thrice daily with XXXXXXX warm water.Its a bulk forming agent and is highly effective in treating severe constipation along with laxatives.
I don't think its cancer.
