Question: I have epididymitis, i was tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia and the results came back negative.
Just yesterday, i went to the hospital and i have inflammation in my stomach vein, supposedly this is also due to a STD so they are testing me again.
Could this be related to my epididymitis? I’ve only had one sexual partner, could i have a STD but scanners aren’t picking it up

Brief Answer:
Do uroculture and ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think it can be epididymitis caused not by an STD but other bacteria also resistant to ciprofloxacine you took recently. You should do an uroculture, urine analysis and ultrasound.
The culture will find the right antibiotic which works on it. The ultrasound will check for kidney stones which can cause the stomach pain .

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
