Brief Answer:
Can be nerve related to due to vaginal dryness.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

The pain and throbbing sensation in the area can be due to an infection or a nerve-related cause. This can be related to dryness of the vagina also. Since the infection has been ruled out and you are already taking Gabapentin, it is best to start with methylcobalamin supplements after getting your serum Vitamin B12 levels checked.

You can also get local estrogen gel prescribed and see if it provides the relief.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow-up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
