Question: I have been feeling a sensation of pressure/gas in my anal area for close to 2 months. I am extremely gassy and often feel constipated at night. I can feel hardness around my anal opening, like a ring when I press around the opening. I am extremely aware of my anal sphincter. It doesn’t hurt just very noticeable and very uncomfortable. I don’t think it is hemorrhoids because it’s been so long and I’m not experiencing symptoms characterized by hemorrhoids.
