Brief Answer:
Need additional info.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us. Let me know few things:

1) Did you get any contact with allergic subs or chemical things on that area?

2) Do you notice this suddenly or it occurs mainly on exposure on sun?

3) How many days ago do you notice this? Any other part of the body beside arm?

4) Do you have any other systemic disease? Hypertension or diabetes?

I will be looking forward for your earliest response and give proper suggestion.

Brief Answer:
Lichen planus or sclerosus should be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for giving updated information. I have reviewed attached image.

According to my opinion, it could be Lichen planus or sclerosus, aggravated more on sun exposure and long standing. Hormonal imbalance, stress disorder, autoimmune disease, thyroid disorder etc should be ruled out.

DIAGNOSIS: Mostly clinical and you should consult with nearest Dermatologist regarding this. Do complete hormonal profile including thyroid study. A biopsy of the affected skin should be done to confirm diagnosis.

TREATMENT: There is NO specific treatment for above said diseases. However, you should maintain proper hand or forearm hygiene, minimize scratching or sun light exposure.

Topical steroid like clobetasol propionate or mometasone furoate can be given to minimize symptoms. Take complete prescription from your doctor.

Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care. Good luck.
