Brief Answer:
It could be a Lipoma

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As per your description, it could be a Lipoma, accumulation of fat tissue.
It can occur at any part of the body.

Some lipomas remain stationary in size for many months. Suddenly, they start increasing in size.
If the swelling is small, it can be removed surgically and send it for Histopathological examination (Biopsy). If the swelling is big, Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) should be done. After FNAC report, management will be decided. Please consult your doctor regarding this and proceed further.

Nothing to worry.
Please upload/post the picture of the lump if you do not have any objection.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.

Wish you good health and speedy recovery
Regards
