Brief Answer:
Gynecological examination is needed to see if it is menstruation or wound b

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

A mild bleeding and coloured discharge are common after a leep procedure but every large bleeding should be evaluated immediately .
You should also avoid intercourse for two to three weeks neither insert a tampon or anything into vagina which can cause bleeding.
I think you should have contacted the gynaecologist who did the procedure to check the wound and confirm that you are menstruating and it is not bleeding from the wound.
The evaluation in ER suggest that it is your period and I believe it but a gynecological examination should confirm it.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
