I Had Protected Sex With A Sex Worker. I Did
Question: I had protected sex with a sex worker. I did not have an erection as I was nervous . We had sex for about 5 mind with my semi erect penis. I had fingered her and used the same fingers to remove my condoms and gave my penis a few strokes with the same hand. (This was 5 mins after inserting my finger into her vagina , the vagina was moist , did not have that sticky fluid when women get excited). What are the chances of me getting hiv ? Also she spat on my penis as I was stroking it and I had ejaculated . About 30 mins after this session I had cleaned my penis with hand sanitizer, its been 4 days now and I'm seeing my penis develop a few bumps looks very similar to fordyce bumps and ppp .I'm just worried if this could be a sign I've hiv or other sti . I'm not having any uneasiness urinating , but I'm just scared I've an STI , she gave me a blowjob with the condom on
Brief Answer:
No need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. HIV is not transmitted in this manner although certain other STIs like herpes can still be transmitted. However, the description does not point in that direction. I would insist you to wait and watch. I do not suppose any testing is needed currently. Unless you develop any specific probls you need not worry.

doctor can the above mentioned scenario lead to conjunctivitis,or any other eye infection or be symptoms of STI/std. my eye has these faint red lines from the end of the conjuntiva to the cornea . the conjuntiva is white , ive been experiencing eye irritation since this afternoon. I was exposed to a lot of sunlight and cement and other dust particles last Friday Saturday and Sunday I had mild eye burning and light sensitivity in my eyes . I've also been watching a lot of series on my phone . I just wanted to know of this was the reason bend this eye irritation ( not painful , can be felt only when you conciously focus on your eye ) . also pls adv the symptoms that I should watch out for in the case of sexually transmitted infections or diseases
Brief Answer:
I don't think that your conjunctivitis has any connection with STIs.
Detailed Answer:
I don't think that your conjunctivitis has any connection with STIs even though sexually transmitted chlamydial eye infection is a known entity. STIs can have myriad presentations and therefore providing an exhaustive list of symptoms would not be possible. It would therefore be worthwhile to visit a doctor in case you have any unexplained symptoms (like the conjunctivitis you mentioned).
